Design Challenge
Design a mobile-first money app for Gen Z, tackling irregular income and social spending pressure. It reduces anxiety by fitting seamlessly into digital habits, promoting sustainable financial behaviors without judgment or overwhelm.

Frustrations Observed Through Primary Research
Problem Statement
Gen Z faces unpredictable finances. From irregular income to social spending pressure, yet most tools remain rigid and jargon-heavy. This mismatch causes many to avoid managing money until crises force reactive decisions, leading to overdrafts and fees instead of proactive habits.

User Groups
1. Students living month-to-month – juggling part-time work, financial aid, and shared housing costs.
2. First-job young professionals – trying to balance rent, debt, and lifestyle upgrades
3. Side-hustlers and creators – dealing with multiple uneven income streams, taxes, and lack of benefits.

Hi-Fi Prototype
To bring the app concept to life, I translated core user needs identified through research into a high-fidelity Figma prototype. The design builds on familiar visual patterns for intuitive adoption, while introducing tailored flows that address the distinct financial realities of each user segment.
